I do love sandpipers and my husband got some fine shots of them as well as some video...it was fun.

We are now camped  near New Port Richey in Florida. We moved camp on New Year's day. Oh we did see see a  murder of crows on the last day of 2011 as we parked in a mall parking lot...whew...huge group.

Our new camp is very welcoming and peaceful. The anhinga sits on the small dock looking at people going about and checking out the fish in the pond. He didn't sit out the past couple of days due to the cold temps here...freezing temps in many areas of Florida. It has warmed up a little today. We have settled in and will explore more of the area soon. There are many white Ibis and Osprey as well that we can view at the camp. Also a good number of people from Ontario here. The camp has a large recycling centre here as well which I am happy to use.

We are taking things easy...in contact with our daughters who  are busy and enjoying their lives.We did receive The Busby Christmas package and  enjoyed reading cards and opening presents.
